Hi,

BIOS/firmware updates are not selected mainly by the Windows version, such as Windows 11 25H2. They are selected by the exact HP model number / product number.

If HP does not show a separate Windows 11 25H2 driver category, that does not always mean there is no BIOS update. In many cases, the same Windows 11 BIOS package applies across several Windows 11 releases.

Please try this:

  1. Find your exact HP product number:
    • Press Fn + Esc in Windows, or
    • Check the label on the laptop.
  2. Go to the official HP drivers page:
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
  3. Enter the exact product number.
  4. Open the BIOS or Firmware section and check whether a newer BIOS is listed.
  5. You can also check through HP Support Assistant:
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3045131-1497668-16

HP BIOS update guide:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4129273-2331498-16

Important: do not install BIOS from another HP model, even if it looks similar. BIOS updates must match the exact product number. Also make sure the charger is connected and the battery is charged before updating.

If no BIOS update appears for your exact model, then HP may not have released a newer BIOS for that device yet. In that case, please post the exact HP model/product number and current BIOS version so we can check more accurately.
