bought 10 new hp pavilion with ryzen 5 processor, thye all randomly show a blue screen saying no boot device. I

Hello.

 

There are many possible reasons, either a hardware or software defect. Since the errors are random, I first recommend installing the latest BIOS version for your laptops. Also check whether the SSD drives have a firmware update available.

 

If you already have the latest BIOS, I would recommend contacting HP support directly since the support person will have access to internal documentation about known problems and may have a solution. I recommend taking some photographs of the BSOD screens in case there is more than just the inaccessible_boot_device error message to expedite the support case.

 

Also, I would recommend running HP drive diagnostics in all affected computers. You can invoke the Diagnostics with F2 button when HP logo is shown upon startup.

 

Finally, if your laptops are brand new, HP has a return policy for 30 days (in some countries at least). The vendor you brought these laptops from may also offer a money back guarantee as well.
