It seems you are experiencing some hardware-related issues with your HP 250 15.6 G9 Notebook. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the problem:

  1. Check for Loose Connections:

    • Gently inspect the screen and the area near the hinges. Ensure that all cables are securely connected. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause freezing or strange noises.
  2. Update Drivers and Firmware:

    • Make sure that all drivers, especially the graphics drivers, are up-to-date. You can use HP Support Assistant to check and install the latest updates.
  3. Inspect for Physical Damage:

    • If the laptop has been accidentally dropped or bumped, there might be internal damage causing these issues. Visually inspect for any signs of damage.
  4. Run HP Diagnostics:

    • Use the built-in HP diagnostics tool to check for hardware issues. You can do this by restarting your laptop and pressing the F2 key repeatedly to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI tool.
  5. Avoid Overheating:

    • Ensure that your laptop is not overheating. Keep it on a flat, hard surface and make sure the vents are not blocked.
  6. Perform a Hard Reset:

    • Disconnect all peripherals and remove the battery if possible. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds, then reconnect everything and try to turn it on.

Kindly let us know if this resolves your concern or if you need any further assistance.
