All models are discontinued at some point.

 

A check shows none of the models in this group for sale now.

A successful model series offered at the HP Store might be offered for a year (to close to that time frame).

Other merchants might sell their stock of that model for as long as they can do so.

 

Why has to do with managing storage, manufacturing, technology upgrades, marketing niche for specialty products..
