Hp Z820
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone know how to activate above 4G decoding on the hp z820 workstation with latest bios? I don’t not see it in the bios menu. Need it for a Nvidia tesla K20Xm 6Gb server gpu if no one can help me, I suggest that hp puts out a bios to enable 4G decoding on the z820 workstations. This is the detailed article to get the K20Xm to work, https://www.servethehome.com/nvidia-smi-issues-get-nvidia-cuda-working-grid-tesla-gpus/

the z820 is "EOL" as in End Of Life as such there will be no feature updates and most likely no more bios updates (specter related issues aside)

and as a reminder for something you might already know

using non supported or server class items (which by default are non tested/supported in workstations) is up to you and is not the workstation maker's  responsibility to support

in other words, you want support for a server related item, then buy a server that states it supports said item

harsh words, but that's the reality

all i can think of for the z820 is to disable all of the unused devices on the z820 such as the onboard network boot roms and the onboard LSI boot rom and see if that frees up the necessary space for the K20xm cards bios to load if not then your out of luck and may have to see if a supermicro board will support the card
