Hi,
We have many thin clients running HP ThinPro and manage them through HP Device manager.
Unfortunately we haven't activated wake on lan in the BIOS on them.
I have looked through the different tasks in HP Device manager, but haven't been able to find an appropriate setting for this.
Has anyone found a way to activate WOL remotely?

Hi Suvadeep,
Yes I have - and as you can see, page 37 tells that it needs to be enabled in the BIOS.
Doing that manually on more than 1000 thin clients is impossible - therefore I was looking for a way to do it through HP Device Manager instead.

Hi Kim,
You can try these steps:
- Setup 1 unit with the needed BIOS settings.
- Capture the BIOS Settings with HPDM File & Registry Task.
- Deploy the captured BIOS Settings to the all the other units.
Note: Capture separate BIOS settings for t520 and t630 respectively.
Thank you,

I dont know if its asking for too much, but i need to know more specifics on how to do it or where to read about it.
The manuals online are not very helpfull when it comes to change bios setttings on these thin clients.
I understand i need to capture the settings from a machine that has the settings i want, i junt cat figure how to do it.
Thank you.
