Dear HP Community,
we need to add an external PSU for a GPU. I saw in this forum how people successfully realized these kind of projects.
We now just need to transfer the Power Switch impulse to the second PSU.
Two questions:
1) can we connect the adapter "Power Supply Sync Starter" here to get the impulse from the power switch?
2) Will it be a problem that the internal HP PSU is 12V only and the external PSU will be a regular ATX PSU?
The PC is a:
- HP Pro Tower 400 G9
- 32GB RAM
- I7
- internal PSU: EPA92 12V 260W
Thank you in advance
