Hello all,
All of our 7 thin clients (model T630) sometimes (once or twice a week) completely freezes.
First, the mouse pointer doesn't react. After that, the num lock key reacts one time and then the thin-client hangs completely. The only way to solve this is to push the hardware on/off button and start it up again.
We are using ThinPro 7.1
Did anyone get this problem too? And a solution?
Kind regards
Diego

Start with resetting the OS back to factory settings and then make sure to update the OS with the latest Service Pack for Thin Pro 7.1. The latest Service Pack would be SP19. If the issue is happening during a VDI connection session you may have to update the respective Addon for the connection you are using. HP has released the updated HP Thin Pro 7.2 OS with SP6 and higher. You may want to try that on one of the units. If your unit was licensed for HP Thin Pro OS then you should not get any prompt license.
I would suggest to create a bootable USB media with ThinPro 7.2. You might have to use HP Thin Update stand alone tool on a Windows PC to create the media.
