HP Recommended

don't know where you went, but HP lists the latest Bios for the z800 ( 3.61 Rev.A ) under each listed OS groups

it's strongly recomended to only update the bios using a DOS boot key/disk or from with the x800 bios itself

 

updating from within windows is not recomended, and might cause a bad flash
