Hello community! I have a HP workstation Z440 E5-1650 v.4 with a graphic card gtx 1650. I bought from a local marked an used gtx 1070 so i switched the graphic cards. I had to get an adaptor because the 1070 needed 8 pins power cable instead of 6 pins used by 1650. The adaptor i got, had 2 heads that converted my two 6 pins heads into one 8 pin heads. Mounted everything on, started the pc and immediately on first boot got error 513 front chasing fan not detected. Firstly i dont have a front fan installed, secondly i did recheck all cables and unplugged/plugged most of them just to make sure i didnt had any loose cable. Nothing the error will not disappear. Could it be hardware or software issue? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

the hp z440 workstation bios's are set to flag a missing front cooling fan if specific hardware configurations are in use the proper solution is to install the missing front chassis fan you can either use the HP assembly or simply connect a HP z440 front chassis fan to the MB fan header and zip tie the fan to the front of the case
