Hello,

Can ThinPro OS be installed and used for free in HP thin client t530 model?

Awaiting official HP employee reply.

first of all, this is a user to user forum (as HP states in the various forums descriptions) so it's highly unlikely that a HP employee will respond even the forum moderators are usually non hp employees

 

your thin client has a tag on it that describes several things,.. one of which is the version of OS it's licensed for and only that OS will install/activate without a key most end users find it easer to install HP thin Client onto another system, then have it connect to their t530 and determine the proper OS the unit is licensed for

 

also  users have upgraded the t530 hardware (ram/HD) and then installed a retail windows 10 image using a retail key to activate
