HP Recommended

In my HP 280 G1 MT desktop , I tried to install

i7 4790 as the socket their is LGA 1150

  • and it is not working but the previous pentium G3250 3.2ghz is working
  • So is it possible that somehow I can use my i7 processor 
  • And can please anyone tell me that does it work on this system or not
