You've got a lot of homework to do... be sure it is worth it. There are no easy answers. Here is a LINK to start with:
Note that most if not all HP business/workstation computers will need attention both in BIOS and also in the network card/LOM end of things.
This forum's search feature is handy but Google will get you posts that HP has retired from here. For example, search Google with this (no quotes): HP wake on lan elite 8200 or HP WOL elite 8200. If you solve this then be generous and post your solution(s).

EDIT: A related tidbit: Some of the HP workstations have two LOM ports, one of which has AMT printed on the backplane by it. These are different pieces of hardware and use different drivers. The Z620 is an example. The non-AMT controls are significantly less capable than those for the AMT ones. For my LOM work on such workstations I've used the AMT port. I block off the non-AMT port with a blank CAT5 plug so the risk of someone changing the network cable from the AMT port to the non-AMT port is kept to a minimum.
