Hp Z420
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can't seem to access the bios upon startup. I have windows 10 home 64 bit. I am trying to enable vt-x

Try this... full shutdown to power off.  Press power on button, and start pressing the Esc key a little faster than 1/second.  Watch the lower left corner and wait for any small white print to show up there.  Stop pressing Esc the moment you see any lettering there and read that.  It may indicate you can press F10 to get into BIOS.

 

I have had a few Z420 and Z620 workstations not allow me into BIOS when using HP USB keyboards, but did succeed by switching over to a HP PS2 keyboard instead.  I've posted here before... I've switched over to PS2 keyboards to my OS build/troubleshooting work because that is more privative, and a OS or hardware glitch that can stop a USB device can sail through that if it is a PS2 device.
