I just received a new Z2 G5 Mini for my work desktop. I am trying to boot from an Ubuntu Live USB to install a real OS. The system cannot find the USB to boot from it.
I turned off secure boot but cannot seem to find the option to enable legacy boot, which is what I believe the problem is. I tried making a new USB using Rufus with the GPT option but that didn't make any difference.
Can someone please tell me how to enable legacy boot, or failing that how I can install Linux on this workstation?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

UPDATE:
I was relying too much on previous posts I saw elsewhere that stated incorrect information. I have the install running now. It seems that I was using a flash drive that was either too old or had a corrupted boot record. I created a new one and it seems to be working fine. So far.
