HP Z6 G5 Workstation Desktop PC IDS Base Model

I just purchased a PC HP Z6 G5.

I have installed a win OS 11 successfully to my HP Z6 G5 workstation.

- But after i remove the "USB installer" and restart.  My PC didn't cannot boot to BIOS (the wolf security screen didn't launch)
I tried to press F10 to bios setting but nothing happen.

- When I re-plug the USB installer, the wolf security screen launch normally, the PC can boot to BIOS and can press F9, choose the SSD and boot to window successfully.

This mean, without the USB installer, my PC cannot boot to bios.
I think my SSD has lost some information for PC to read the boot information.
Or something relevant to setting the secure boot that skip my SSD?

Could someone know about this can help me to fix it ?

Chris_TON,

Is that new from factory, Win decal on the back of the case? Or used, with Win decal on the back of the case?  There is also a case label on the bottom that tells you what it is licensed for in tiny letters. The reason I ask is that HP has their Cloud Recovery system that provides a downloadable HP-fine-tuned installer for W10 and/or W11. Literally a gold standard build installer that you can download at no cost over the net. The process makes you a bootable installer. You download the W11 version, install, and then update that somewhat older W11 via Windows Update.

You only can download that if you have a product ID or serial number that is linked to a workstation that is Windows licensed. Virtually all of those Win workstations are cross licensed... for W10 and/or W11.  Even if you snagged a serial number off a pic from eBay from a Win-licensed Z6 G5 ad and downloaded the kit using that you can't run that installer unless when launched it sees the proper licensing in firmware. The USB drive needs to be at least 32GB. I've posted here details on where to get these from HP with links that work currently.

Not sure what you're trying to do. Did you buy it as a Linux box and later bought a MS W11 license to shift the OS over Win properly?

This page shows your Z4 G5 has CRT downloads for both W11 and W10 (assuming it was Windows licensed from the factory):

hi SDH,

I bought it as a Linux Box and then installed the window 11 OS properly.

That why i got the issue when I remove the USB installer, the PC doesn't boot to WIN11,
But when I I plug the USB installer, it can boot normally.
