Try these steps:

Create Custom BIOS Logo

Prepare the Logo Image:

  • Ensure your custom logo image fits the necessary specifications. Typically, it should be a BMP or JPEG file and match the size requirements (often 1024x768 pixels or similar proportions).

Convert Image to EFI Format:

  • Use a tool such as UEFITool or UEFI BIOS Updater to convert the logo image to a format compatible with UEFI.

Change BIOS Boot Logo Using HP Tools

Using HP BIOS Configuration Utility:

For HP computers, you can use the HP BIOS Configuration Utility (BCU) to change the boot logo.

Download HP BIOS Configuration Utility:

  • Access HP Support and download the HP BIOS Configuration Utility.

Install and Configure BCU:

  • Install the BCU software and open a command prompt with administrative privileges.
  • Use the following command to set the logo:BiosConfigUtility.exe /SetValue:LogoPath=Path\To\Your\Logo.bmp

Use HP Firmware Management Utility

Using HP Firmware Management:

HP also provides the Firmware Management utilities which may support changing the boot logo.

  • HP System Software Manager (SSM):
    • Download HP System Software Manager from HP Support.
    • Follow the instructions provided by HP SSM documentation to apply firmware configuration changes, including the boot logo.

Use Built-In Powershell Commands

Using Powershell Commands:

Use the command Clear-HPFirmwareBootLogo in Powershell to remove an existing custom logo, followed by setting a new logo:

  • Open Powershell with Admin Privileges:Clear-HPFirmwareBootLogo If error 3 unknown occurs, verify that the HP SSM is installed and your image path is correct and accessible.

Final Steps

  1. Restart and Check BIOS:
    • After applying the logo change, restart your laptop.
    • Enter BIOS by pressing Esc then F10 during startup to verify if the new logo is applied.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure the image file is in the correct format and resolution as required by the UEFI firmware.
  • Make sure that all related HP tools are updated to the latest version available.
  • Verify that the image path is correct and accessible during the firmware update process.

I hope this helps.
