My computer will not do anything when I hit the power button. It doesn’t light up or make noises. Nothing. I have verified that I have a good power source and good adapter. The power button doesn’t work at all.

@Pat106 Welcome to HP Community!
I suggest you perform a hard reset using the below steps:
- Unplug all the external devices (If any).
- Disconnect the power cord from the PSU,
- Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
- Connect the power supply (power cord).
- Press the power button to turn on your desktop.

I have a hp Pavilion touch All-In-One purchased in 2016, product number V8Q13AA. Will not power-up.
Have done all the suggested fixes thru HP support with no solution.
Please tell me if this is a glitch that is unfixable and I am not the only one with a 3 year old $999 paperweight?
Thanks

@lschaar I suggest you check if the power button is working or if it's physically broken, or damaged, if its not damaged and yet it isn't working, perhaps, you can try with an alternate power cord or another wall outlet to check if that works fine, if nothing works, let me know if you've done that.
Keep us posted,
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
