Product: Elite Desk 800 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Suddenly the DVD isn't being recognzed when I go to burn files to it. Device manager sees it and calls it working properly,but recording balks and fails with messages similar to DVD not found. I didn't find a listed DVD to GO program anywhere in my programs listing to uninstall or reinstall either.

The DVD drive has likely reached the end of its product life cycle.
The Elite Desk 800 G1 series is from the 2013 market year.
You can use an external USB DVD rewriter to resolve the issue
