Hi there, I need some assistance with HP Device manager. I've installed HPDM and detected the devices in my environment.
I want to be able to install an application(Firefox) on all thin clients.
Could someone please tell me step by step on how to go about doing this? I'm working on a project and need this to be complete asap.
Also is there anyway I could use HPDM to restrict access to a few websites on all my thin clients?
Thank you for your help in advance

Hi Luke, you can use the File & Registry template to deploy any application to thin clients. To get a sample, you can import an application from HP Update Center. More details are available in the Admin Guide if you search the key phrase "Update Center".
You can view what applications are provided by HP, and choose one application for the same OS as your thin client, and generate a template from it. That template can show you how it allows you to deploy files, run the install script, and then clean up the files, you can easily create your own template.
My opinions are my own and do not express those of HPI.
