Product: Example: Pavilion 65Hp Pro Desk 400 G3 SFF30
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the above pc running win 10 pro, version 10.0.19041. When I shut the desktop down the activity light turns of but the power light remains on and the cooling fan continues to run also. I have to unplug it to shut everything off. What would cause that and how to fix the problem?

Hi:

 

Sometimes that has to do with an outdated Intel Management Engine Interface driver, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest IMEI driver from your PC's support page, restart the PC and the next time you shut it down, see if that updated driver resolved the problem.
