What is the main difference between HP z820 and HP z840 ?

besides front drive bays they look the same ?

Xeon E5-X6XX and E5-X6XX v2                             Xeon E5-X6XX v3  and E5-X6XX v4

1600MHz  and 1866 MHz RAM                              2133MHz   and  2400MHz   < Speeds depend on processor

 M.2  AHCI support                                                     M.2 NVMe drive support
