Hello, I want to add a discrete graphic cards for editing and rendering using sketchup(mostly), the problem is the psu power is too low, I aim to use AMD RX 6600XT for the system, does hp offer 500w(or more) PSU? If so, what are their part numbers?

The system specs are :

Graphics Intel UHD Graphics

8GB RAM

512 SSD

Win 11

Any recommendations are appreciated

Hi:

It appears that the following 500W power supply is used in the 280 Pro G9 Tower PC's:

L89233-001
SKO-PSU 500W MT WS20 EPA90

If you click to expand the PC's this PSU is supported in, and select to group the list from 10 to 50, on the 3rd page you will see many 280 G9's this PSU was offered in.

Thank you for your reply, Paul! Do you have any recommended gpu to fit in?

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, that is not an area that I am well versed in, and I recommend that you start a new discussion on that.

All I use PC's for is to check e-mails, do spreadsheets and surf the web, YouTube videos...

My most powerful graphics card is a Nvidia GT1030 which is probably more than I need for what I use PC's for. 😊
