@SDH,

Yea, you are right -I looked it up.

My bad: I assumed that HP followed the general PCIe/ATX (6-pin & 8-pin) power supply standard:

yep, NonSequitur777's SFF modding got me to see what i could do

in my case i fitted a 500 watt mini-itx pwr supply into the HP SFF 6300 pro's 180 watt pwr supply case and then did a semi custom mounting bracket to mount a short length full Height video card into the case was it practical? not in my opinion since the cost of the parts was almost 50% of buying a used tower model

however it was a great learning experience and the things learned  might come in use sometime in the future

@SDH@DGroves,

Thank you, guys, for your encouraging and kind words!

Truth is, I have learned a great deal in honing my Mod/computer skills in this User Forum from both of you -and many other HP aficionados such as: @Paul_Tikkanen@itsmyname@BeemerBiker@Huffer@Dragon-Fur@old_geekster@GOLD_MASTER, and others: a big Thank You!

Live Long and Prosper  🖖

Kind Regards,

Thanks everyone for the help!

I'm really glad I found this forum for my questions. I asked the same question before on Reddit and Facebook forums and no one was able to help me!

I hope you all have a nice day!

Cheers,

Ian
