HPZ240
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was told by Samsung that a 980 PRO SSD would fit in this workstation, but I can't find an M2 slot.  Is there one or only in the 'regular sized' Z240?

@TroyGagnon

Its specs

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04892038#AbT6

Looks like it does not have M.2 slot for storage, only

1 PCI Express Gen3 slot x 1 mechanical/ x 1 electrical (LP, half length)
1 PCI Express Gen3 slot x 16 mechanical/ x 16 electrical (LP, half length)
1 PCI Express Gen3 slot x 1 mechanical/ x 1 electrical (LP, half length)
1 PCI Express Gen3 slot x 16 mechanical/ x 4 electrical (LP, half length)
note:
In the PCIe Gen3 (x 16 electrical/x 16 mechanical) slot, if it is not being used for a graphics card, only cards certified as After Market Options for this platform are supported.

It supports PCIe SSDs for HP workstations but you need HP Z turbo drive G2 256 GB SSD. or 128GB or 512 GB

Regards.
