ok then, ....start your own company and then you can have what you want until then i suspect that you will have to accept HP's decision on not wanting to deal with numerous complaints on issues like this

like i said while i can see you being annoyed that you need to buy another part when adding parts to your system i also see HP's position on requiring you to do so

you do have the option to email HP and ask them to be more clear on the fact that the system requires the 2.5in bracket/fan kit if adding a m.2 or 2.5in drive (which i also think should be done in this case)

If your position  is that HP or any other company can't be criticized you are out of your mind.

I'll step away from this discussion now as it is entirely unhelpful for anyone with this issue. I'll be back when the kit has been delivered and I have verified if it solves the issue or not.

Hi,

Where did you make the order? I could not find a link to buy this anywhere on hp.com.

Thanks!

I found it when looking at my distributors website. I'm sure you can get a hold of it if you use google, or contact HP Store by phone directly.

Since I happen to live in the backwaters of Sweden, the deliverydate is preliminary 2022-10-31, so it'll be a while before I can give any indication it works.

I can now confirm that the kit 13L70AA solves the issue.
