Hello,

I have in my company multiple devices where the touchpad doesn't work anymore. Even after disabling dma protection, BIOS + Drivers updates, reinstalled HID mouse driver. The keyboard works but the touchpad doesn't respond. What's happening with this model ? Do we have to replace every keyboard ? They are experiencing that issue at the same time, we doesn't know what to do now.

I have the same issue. From yesterday my touchpad doesn't work. It works only when the keyboard is attached by only one magnet (bottom side). When it is fully attached (two magnets) it is disabled. I don't know the reason or what has changed... I have tried bios update. Unfortunately it was without affect...

Might be a hardware issue... The problem occurs for almost every tablet we have

Hello, does anyone have a chance to connect the keyboard to another computer to check if it is hardware or other issue? I think this might be a firmware issue because firmware controls if it is disabled (flipped at the back side) or enabled according to magnets inside. The signal from magnets goes to the firmware, right?

I would like to avoid paying the warranty replacement in case it is caused by wrong firmware or driver...
