  • Apply power with wall cord adapter
  • Enable start with power switch
  • 3 slow red beeps and short pause
  • 4 fast high pitched beeps and short pause
  • Repeats beeping pattern
  • Unplug unit to stop repetition
  • Result non-bootable

Consult the service manual for how to troubleshoot the beep/blink codes.

 

Chapter 7, starting on page 108.

I interpret the problem to be...3.4    The system board displays a power failure (crowbar).*

 

* Indicates hardware triggered event; all other events are controlled by the BIOS.
