Elitedesk 800 G3 min HMDI to Displayport not working

I have tried connecting a third monitor to my Elitedesk 800 G3 mini through the use of multiple HDMI to Dipslayport converters, since I have already used up both of the Displayport plugs on the PC itself. The first two adapters I used did not work, and I assumed that they were faulty. I just recently bought a brand new HDMI output to Displayport input cable, and it still isn't working. All of my monitors are HP EliteDisplay E231i. I know that the HDMI port works regularly because I used a standard HDMI cable to test it on another monitor. I have also confirmed that the third monitor works with a standard display cable. Since the adapters are not working for HDMI-Displayport should I attempt an HDMI-DVI adapter? Or is there a larger issue with the HDMI port not being compatible with adapters?

when doing HDMI to DisplayPort

make sure the adapter is a HDMI to display adapter and not a display to HDMI adapter

Active HDMI to Displayport adapters are sometimes needed instead of a passive one

and for your case you will need a active HDMI to Displayport adapter

HDMI to displayport adapters have limits on the bandwidth not all have the same specs

higher quality ones support newer standards = higher resolutions/refresh rates

 for your HP monitor you need a "ACTIVE" adapter that can do 1920 x 1080

keep in mind that  the displayport cable should no more than 10ft for best pict quality

I am having a similar issue with my hp elitedesk 800 g3 sff. Found out if the driver intel HD 530 is uninstalled and the windows basic driver is active, the hdmi works fine. But soon as the driver installed manuallybor automatically from update...hdmi doesn't output. Any help??
