you are switching between cpu's that do/do not support VT (VT = Virtualization Technology. while having VT enabled in the Bios disable the VT setting in the bios (this setting should have been disabled before changing the cpu's)
if you can not change the setting in the bios,
power off the system, remove the power cord and press/hold the power button for 5 sec to fully discharge the power supply
remove the cmos battery, and now wait 20/30 min
power on system, enter bios and perform a factory bios settings then power off
(also note, systems sold in russia and some other contries will not support TPM so they will not have that bios setting)
replace cmos battery, power on enter bios, enter intel AMT, bios settings, select "Reset AMT"
you will be prompted for a password, hope you remember the AMT password if you set it because there is no way to recover it if it was not set then it will prompt for the default one, and then prompt you to set one if you enter the AMT settings page

no . does not work.
When I put the original processor E2160 - there is no input in the MBRx by CTRL+P
VT in BIOS - it is off. Error 2213 - EIT.....
At the same time, "АТМ options" is always available in BIOS
if I put processor support VT - E6750 - I enter MBRx. enable / disable ATM - result one: error 2221 - if ATM is OFF or error 2224 or 2225 if ATM is ON
At the same time, "АТМ options" in BIOS -- changed hidded/enabled
Photo:
1. E2160
e2160: I turn off the power cord, remove the battery, wait for 20 minutes
power ON, boot stop, i push the F1, reboot , F10
changing settings
I save the settings of F10
I include access to MEBx -- CTRL+P
I restore the factory settings
i push the F10 and push the POWER Button
I insert CMOS batt, push Power ON ..... :(((
2. E6750
1. I change the processor to e6570
2. I get error 2221
3. because ME and AMT are off
3.1 ...and AMT in BIOS is hidden
4. I turn on the Meb, then turn on the AMT
5. but the item "setting VT" -- not present
5.1
And I get a error 2223 or 2224
:((((

I put the original cpu E2160 back in.
turned off the power.
pulled out the power cord.
removed the CMOS battery.
waited 12 hours.
.......
I turn on the computer, the first boot - F1 to continue.
Reboot. clicked F10 - entered the BIOS.
further: clicked f9 (I do not know what for - it does not have an action in v1.35)
Further: I select the item "factory settings" , <enter>, select "factory settings as defoult", clicked the F10 to accept the settings.
(I do not press "save settings and exit", just like I did the first time for cmos reset (at that time everything turned out) )
Next: I press the power button and turn off the computer.
I install the CMOS battery, I press the power button and turn on the comp.
Booting..... Error 2213 - EIT .... ((((
and more: the bios v1.35 does not have the item "Reset AMT"
plus - now the computer stopped booting from CDD -- always Error 2213
Ufff. booting CDВ -- is working

I'm sorry to say but this is a older system,.... at some point it becomes a better use of time/money to replace the system and i think that point has been reached ebay has used systems for sale with better specs for under 50.00 including shipping

you right.
just this 7800 is used to a very simple task - POS System.
high power computing is not required.
BUT
compact size, stable operation and licensed OS - this is what I need.
DC7800 SFF is well suited for this.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
again about the problem:
I installed the original processor.
I began to switch the settings randomly.
and got the download.
then saved these settings to USB.
Next, I replaced the original processor with to the Zeon X3320.
..... 2223/2224 (((((
I reinstalling the original processor, restoring the saved settings from USB ... - does not work - error 2213
I do not understand anything.
may be defective chip CMOS?
what chip is used there? I can change the chip myself.....

The problem is solved!!!!
so.
I extracted the BIOS chip. chip 25L3205D
and flashed it on the programmer CH341A v1.30
firmware 7F1_0135.bin
installed the chip back on the motherboard and everything now works.
installed the processor XEON X3320 2.5GHz 1333 - it works!
-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------
now about new problems:
removed the serial number, MAC address and some more.
question:
how to restore them in the BIOS? The numbers themselves I have.
05-30-2018 05:32 AM
if you know the original mac address, simply load up the old bios chip dump it's contents to a file, then scan that file for the mac address bytes, note it's locations and use this info to duplicate it on the new bios chip by reburning the bios
this should also work for the serial number

unfortunately, I'm not sure.
If I ask the old dump of the BIOS, the more likely it will return an error 2224/2225
I have just numbers.
can be there is a utility of their registration in a new BIO

there is no other way, your programer is able to do a full read and dump of the old bios chip when it is removed from the motherboard this is required in order to determine the correct memory addresss where the mac/ser numbers are located
