A problem with my HP laptop where it's not turning on, and the LED indicators are blinking with the error code 0x800703f1 when I open any website. The screen remains blank, and despite trying to perform a hard reset and checking the power connections. The laptop was functioning normally before this issue arose, and I can't find any visible damage or loose connections.

Hi @Nikolasa,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Error code 0x800703f1 can be related to hardware issues, particularly with components like RAM or the motherboard. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the problem.
Disconnect External Devices: Remove all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.) and try to power on the laptop again.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the laptop from power.
- Remove the battery (if removable).
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power (without the battery if possible) and try turning it on.
Check the RAM:
- If you're comfortable opening the laptop, check the RAM modules. Ensure they are securely seated in their slots.
- If you have multiple RAM sticks, try removing them one at a time and see if the laptop powers on with just one stick.
Inspect Internal Connections:
- Check for any loose or disconnected internal cables, especially those connected to the motherboard and display.
Try an External Display:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV to see if the issue might be with the laptop’s screen.
Reset BIOS/UEFI:
- If you can access the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing a key like F2, F10, or Esc during startup), try resetting it to default settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
