The Intel RST software displayed 3 methods to turn off acceleration:
a) software > performance tab > disable accelertion
b) ROM
c) UEFI
On the identical HP hardwre the Intel RST can be installed and used to turn off acceleration.
On the problematic computer the Intel RST can be downloaded and reinstalled as either repair or uninstall.
After repair it displayed an error message.
Alternatively using boot rescue software the Intel RST displays a different error message.
For the HP zbook G0 base model is the ROM feature available or unavailable?
For the HP zbook G0 base model is the UEFI feature available or unavailable?
If ROM and UEFI are available then there are options when there are failure to boot, operating system or registry corruption, malware or ransomware.
If ROM and UEFI are unavailable then there appear to be only expensive options when there are failure to boot, operating system or registry corruption, malware or ransomware.
Ordinarily a HD can be moved to a HD enclosure to save data. The Intel RST acceleration when on makes the drive data unreadable in any other computer. Only when the acceleration is turned off is the data readable.
So there should be some method to turn the acceleration off when there is failure to boot, operating system or registry corruption or malware or ransomware.

one more time,
the bios options for enable/disable disk caching simply tell the installed os to either use or ignore the installed SRT driver.
IF your installed OS is corupted the bios settings are then unable to make those changes happen, you can filp those settings all day and it will not make any diffrence
and again there is no "G0" model there is only the base model (try finding a zbook 15/17 G0 on hp's site) there is only the zbook base model followed by the G2/G3 and so on
you seem to not realise that a SOFTWARE mode driver like RST/SRT requires a working OS in order to function, which again you no longer have
your OS is corupted, non working, kaput,.......understand? reread my first line
your only options are Reformat/reinstall os, and replace any failing parts if nessary
try a recovery program with the drive as a data drive in another system, or pay a recovery service
