Step 1- Download the Desired BIOS Version
To begin, you'll need to obtain the BIOS version you wish to downgrade to. HP provides a collection of BIOS versions for the HP 280 G2 MT on the Internet Archive. It's advisable to downgrade in incremental steps (e.g., from A0.58 to A0.52, then to A0.50, and so on) to avoid potential issues with BIOS signing.
Step 2- Prepare a BIOS Recovery USB Drive
1-Format a USB Drive: Use a USB drive with at least 1GB of free space. Format it to FAT32.
2-Create a BIOS Recovery Folder: On the USB drive, create a folder named HP (all uppercase).
3-Extract the BIOS Files,
Download the desired BIOS executable (e.g., sp100549.exe for A0.52).
