Nick... short answer is yes.
When you search for an optional part it usually works best to find the latest HP QuickSpecs for your computer in PDF form, and then search in there. The most recent for yours is from 5/1/23, and I've attached it below after downloading from HP.
In that QuickSpecs HP uses "Flex IO" and "Flex Port 2020" related to what you want. For example, on page 2 the rear view shows the normal hard wired 1GbE LAN port to be at the right of midline, and the single Flex IO access cover to be at the left of midline. The interchangable Flex IO option board modules are stated to be: "Flex IO left side, choice of: (1) VGA, (1) HDMI 2.0b, (1) DisplayPort™ 1.4, (1) Dual USBA 5Gbps port, (1) 1GbE LAN, (1) USB-C® 10Gbps port (Alt Mode), (1) Thunderbolt™ 3 with USB4 40Gbps, (1) 1Gbps Fiber LC NIC, (1) 2.5GbE LAN, (1) USB-based Serial port, (1) 10GbE LAN."
You can pick one of those modules when you order your Factory Configured PC if you want an optional add-on at that time... and the QuickSpecs provide an Option Kit Part Number if it is something you can do after the fact. The one you want is listed on page 10 and 12 as "HP 1GbE LAN Flex Port 2020" with part numbers 141J6AA or 141J6AT (same kit; the AT one was just sold as part of a promo so likely will be cheaper to search for that).
This same part is used by HP in more than just the Z2 G9. There are videos on this HP Mini that may be of value to you, for example HERE and HERE . Two screws to not lose inside the case, and I hope those screws are waiting in the alignment posts if you don't have a different module in place already. I have no idea how easy it is to get into the rear area of the Mini's motherboard to access that module's location. There is a nice HP video showing a Flex Port 2020 module being removed and inserted in the Z2 G9 SFF version, starting at 33:49, HERE . Order it ahead to be installed by HP if you have not bought your Mini yet. By the way that same 141J6AA/AT module is used in the HP Z2 G9 SFF, but access looks quite a bit easier in the SFF vs the Mini.
