Front Audio Jack Not Working After OS Reinstallation - HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Desktop Mini

Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Desktop Mini
Issue: Front audio jack is not working after OS reinstallation or upgrade
Operating System: Windows 11 24H2 (clean install or upgrade)

Symptoms:
After reinstalling or upgrading the OS, the front audio jack on my HP EliteDesk 800 G5 is no longer functional.
Device Manager shows the following message:

Device settings for SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.0.00000000}.{afeeebf2-42da-4217-8dfc-7e5d7622cffc} were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match. Last Device Instance ID: SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.1.00000000}.{44836db9-bf61-441a-8992-22646bc5326d} Class GUID: {c166523c-fe0c-4a94-a586-f1a80cfbbf3e} Status: 0xC0000719 Present: false

I've tried:

  • Reinstalling Realtek drivers from HP Support Assistant and official site

  • BIOS update (latest version installed)

  • Checking the jack with working headphones (headphones work on other devices)

  • Realtek Audio Console doesn't detect front jack

Would appreciate help or suggestions for resolving this issue.
Has anyone else faced this after moving to Windows 11 24H2 or a clean install?
