Hi, is it possible for me to put a rtx 3050 on my pc. I have 310w of psu and as per checking on the rtx 3050 it has 130 TDP. I'm planning on buying the 8gb variant if possible. Thanks!

My specs

I have i7-7700

8gb x 2 ram

2 Hard drives 1 256 Sata 1 HDD

Will it be possible?

@Kuraudooo,

Theoretically, yes, a 310-watt power supply could power an RTX 3050 as referenced by TechPowerUp here.

However, you would have to use a dual 15-pin SATA power to PCIe 8-pin power adapter cable -which looks like this, in order to power this card.

A better RTX 3050 option, in my opinion, would be a lower TDP RTX 3050 variant (70-watt) -a low-profile model fitted with a full-size (full height) PCIe bracket if you got a Microtower model, or with a low-profile PCIe bracket for the SFF model.
