Might one be faster than the other?

If so, which one would be faster?

A M.2 NVMe SSD would have at least 3x - 5x faster read/write speeds than a 2.5" SATA SSD would provide.

Most SATA SSDs have a max transfer speed of 560 MBPS for the very best performing models.

The M.2 slot gen is 3.0, so the transfer speed would max out at 4,000 MBPS.
