please understand that HP only lists the cards that they decided to sell with that system, this does not mean other card will not work, only that hp has not decided to sell/suport them also many card models get released by the card makers after a system spec list is created by HP which again would not be listed because they did not exist at the time hp was putting together that system
bottom line, you can run ANY PCI-E VIDEO CARD THAT DRAWS 75 WATTS OR LESS AND IS LOW PROFILE
here's what a low profile card(s) look like) note also the other card model listed on that page
2gb ram
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIACUE5D55032
any video card that does not have a aux power connector on it is a card which meets the 75 watt or less requirement
buying a older card from the HP list is not a good idea for 3d modeling work. those cards are very slow and ram limited compared to any of the cards on the link i provided to you
most video cards, have a SFF bracket available along with the high profile (tower bracket) simply ask the vender if the card you are interested in comes with the SFF bracket

first of all does your 3d modeling program support openGL? or directX? if openGL then a quadro/firepro card may be worth considering as they are much faster (even the low end cards) compared to consumer "normal" directX cards
if your program supports directX, then skip the quadro/firepro and buy any video card that will fit in your low profile case which does not exceed the systems available power draw as a rule you can use any card that does not have a aux power connector,....meaning the card gets all power from the pci-e slot (75 watts or less)
check the HP quick spec list for your model/form factor and compare the listed HP video cards wattage to the card you want to buy.
as long as you do not exceed this you will be fine

i STRONGLY urge you to check the current prices on ebay,
any one of the cards in this list are much, much, faster than the two "AMD" cards you listed
how much faster? around 4/6 times faster also the 2gb (or more) memory will be required for 3d modeling
unless you like waiting 10 min for the screen to redraw each time

ASUS GeForce ® GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 low profile graphics card for silent HTPC build (with I/O port
Inno3D GeForce GT 710 2GB DDR3 LP
The GT 710 is half the price and was thinking of getting this one as we only do simple modelling to create cam programs for Cnc machines

while either of them will work, the asus card will be much faster due to the GDDR5 memory
the other card uses ddr3 and therefor will be noticably slower in all aspects
please understand that the phrase "you get what you pay for" is a vaild statement here
do some research on google checking benchmark scores between the cards, also do the same on the software venders cad forum see what the users there think
the two cards are from diffrent era's and the 7xx series card is from 3 generations ago (the 1030 card is current gen)
if it was me, i personally would balance the price diffrence/faster speed of the new card agenst how much money i would save and see if the much longer times to render/rotate 3d models is actually worth the saving
most people HATE waiting, or using a system that displays/rotates/moves objects in fits and starts
