HP Spectre x360 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ef0000 RCTO Base Model
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased my laptop along with a 3 YR care pack warranty on HP.com on 05/22/22.

At that time I completed the care pack registration on this page https://www.hp.com/us-en/services/consumer/carepack-registration.html

and the form said I would  receive an email in 3-4 weeks.

I never received an email after checking several times over those months, checking my spam folder as well.

I tried submitting the care pack registration form again, with the same response, and eventually no emails or information at all about the warranty.

About a year ago (Around 9/2023), my computer started having issues, which are hardware related.  I attempted the care pack registration again.  Same thing... the form said wait 3-4 weeks for an email that never arrived.

I've also registered the laptop with my online account at hp.com and there's also no way to see this extended warranty care pack or add it.  There's no way to reach out to any support about this either. There's no phone number, the form doesn't work, there's no contact person, nothing.

How can I  register my care pack and proceed with the warranty support that I paid for?

Just today I tried again to register the care pack, hoping that the form might work this time, at https://www.hp.com/us-en/services/consumer/carepack-registration.html

and the form won't even submit!  The error in console is "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"

The hardware issue I'm having is:

The mouse pointer moves and clicks on it's own. I've already performed all software related fixed found online such as: updating drivers, changing sensitivity of touchpad, updating bios, disabling the pen driver, disabling the touch screen entirely,  etc and it continues only when the touchpad is on.  This is a touchpad hardware issue (reported by others as well with the same model) and it needs to be replaced.

I am dealing with the same issue as well!

Purchased a Care Pack for my printer and it doesn’t allow me to register online. I’ve tried it for like 3 or 4 days straight. Today, I actually called the support line and they opened a case. The lady transferred me over to what I assume was the correct department and the line said it unable to accept calls and to call back later.

It’s just really annoying, but once I get it figured out, I will let you know what I had to do.
