Hi all,
I had the same problem after upgrading the BIOS, installing ssd with W10.
I solved it on two PC's in the same way by setting the BIOS as below:
- under File -> Default Setup -> Restore the BIOS to Factory Settings as Default
- under Security -> Device security -> Embedded Security Device -> Device hidden
- under Avanced -> NIC Option ROM Download -> Disabled
- under Avanced -> SATA RAID Option ROM Download -> Disabled
The same procedure solved also fail to boot from USB (first remember to restore the BIOS to Factory Settings as Default)
Hope it helps!

Hi, all:
I noticed that HP has released a new BIOS update for the 8200 Elite series.
00.02.31 Rev.A Feb 22, 2018
The release notes do not address fixing the problem, but the release notes for v02.29 didn't address causing the problem either.
I was just wondering if anyone that was running W10 with v.2.29 installed, has updated to the new v02.31 and can report if the delay in rebooting issue was resolved by the new BIOS release.
I have both of my 8200 Elite CMT's running on W10 at BIOS v02.28 and they work perfectly fine.
I was going to update to v02.29 until I read this discussion.
So, I have no intention of updating to v02.31 unless someone can confirm that the issue caused by v02.29 was resolved by updating to v02.31.
Thanks,
