After a power outage, this machine will not power on. No lights, fans, sounds, or anything. I've switched cords. The power button makes a clicking sound like normal. I can't see any signs of damage to the motherboard. Switched out the power supply with one from another retired pc of the same model and got the same thing. Is there anything else I can check?

try disconnecting any devices such as HD/usb/ext video card (if possible, do you have a 15 pin monitor?)

if still no boot suspect motherboard, or cpu is bad
