I have a DL380 (think it's G1 or G2) with dual power supplies, it's running well. It's connected to a American Power Conversion Smart2200 UPS. The UPS is 10+ years old and the batteries are shot. Rather than replacing the batteries I wanted to install a pair fo BackUPs 1500s and split the load between the two UPSes. I don't know what the power draw is on the DL380. To further complicate the issue there's a external disk subsystem that's also on the UPS. Both the server and disk subsystem have dual power supplies. I searched for specs to determine power draw but couldn't find them.

Hi:
HP split into two companies a few years back.
HP supports PCs, printers, tablets, and calculators.
HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and tape drives.
You may want to post your question on the HPE community support forum -- Proliant Servers section...
