Hi, my mother gifted me the HP ELITE THUNDERBOLT 3 DOCKING STATION HSTNN-CX01. But my laptop is not an elitebook, does it work with it?

 

My laptop is:

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw0xxx

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.19 GHz
Installed RAM 16,0 GB (15,7 GB usable)
Product ID 00325-81737-88884-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

wrong forum this is not the consumer or hardware forum you should post in one of those forums and not in the workstation/business forum

 

with that said no, your pavilion consumer model laptop lacks a thunderbolt compatible port people confuse usb 3.1 gen1 with thunderbolt 3 due to both using the same usb "C" type connector
