Product: Z8 G4 (Win 10) and Z820 (Win 7)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
For several weeks now, whenever I start HP Performance Advisor on my HP workstations, the following announcement pops up: HP Performance Advisor is not connected to its server. Connection Exception. This, in spite of the fact that I have fully functional Internet connection. I press OK and the application interrogates my workstation and presents all that it finds, as usual. It turns out that the HPPA version is no longer automatically updated as it used to be in the past. On my new Z8 G4 it is still version 2.1.5531.0. On my aging Z820 the HPPA version is newer: 2.1.6309.0, because I happened to open it towards the end of year 2020 and it updated automatically then. Any harm in this situation?

Hi Joselso,
I noticed the same issue on my Z series workstations and found that on the main web page it states that the download is temporary unavailable, check back later.

I wonder if it is to do with the removal of storage advisor and if such they are releasing a new version without that.
So guess we'll have to keep our eye out and see what magic comes our way.
