HP ProDesk 600 G6 Microtower, is unresponsive, like freeze but mouse is moving. I have to disconnect the power and re-connect to start a session. This issue happens randomly after idle for a moment.

Is it a wireless mouse?
Just solved a vexing problem here that had taken down two workstations that way. Even interfering with BIOS setting changes. Turned out to be due to a wireless HP "Link 5" mouse and its USB-attached dongle picking up interference from a nearby wireless repeater.
I use older HP PS2 mouse and keyboard for troubleshooting... you can find those new via eBay for low cost. That is how I figured it out. A USB wired mouse would be a reasonable alternative, but I like the more primitive PS2 approach for such sleuthing.

Thank you for your help. The problem occurs constantly (almost daily) and the mouse cursor moves but the whole screen is frozen. Mouse click do not respond, the keyboard does not respond. I have to shut down the computer and restart it.
Thanks.
