HP ProDesk 600 G3 Base Model Small Form Factor PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I have HP Prodesk 600 G3 SFF with this config:

Cpu    :   Intel i5 7500
Ram   :   32 Gig  4x8 gig SK Hynix 2400 ]
S.S.D  :   SK Hynix 256 G
H.H.D  :  Western Blue 500 G
Power : 180 wat

I want to buy a graphics card but I noticed that I have limited option because of my power supply.

If I don't change my power supply , what is most powerful graphics card I can use ?

Thanks

@Jakoob,

A word of warning: you do not have much space between your PCIe x16 graphics card slot and your power supply.  This means that only slim (single slot) cards would work, such as this Amazon purchase example: https://www.amazon.com/PowerColor-Dragon-Radeon-Profile-Graphics/dp/B09NTNSCJM/ref=sr_1_19?crid=2HXW....

[EDIT:] Or this low-profile RX 6400https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Technology-11315-01-20G-Graphics-Card/dp/B09YHFH2XK/ref=sr_1_6?crid=....

@Jakoob,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, because of the proprietary and small size-restricted aspects of your particular power supply, there are no power supply upgrades available for your HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF.

According to Userbenchmark, the best GPU that showed up is a (low-profile) GTX 1050 Ti: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-ProDesk-600-G3-SFF/51871, and this would be a model that doesn't require a 6-pin PCIe power cable.  Even so, with a 75-watt TDP, this card would be pushing it.

I would suggest that you would look into a low-profile RX 550, such as this model: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/msi-rx-550-low-profile-oc.b4711, a low-profile GTX 750 Ti such as this model: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/gigabyte-gtx-750-ti-low-profile-oc.b5381, or a low-profile GT 1030.

Kind Regards,
