Here is what we did as a workaround for my organization. We created a settings template that sets the time to sept 30 (looks like whatever cert HP uses for Xar extracts expired on October 2nd). We then added this template as the 1st step in sequence to our production template, before the Xar files are pushed. Works successfully. Hope this helps others until we get a true fix from HP. Also the last step in our production template does some profile edits and points it back towards our internal ntp server.time1.pngtime2.pngtime3.png

I'm getting the same error message when applying Omnissa Horizon Client 2412.  I am using T640, T740 and T755 with ThinPro 8.0 and ThinPro8.1. I re-image with recovery image from HP Update Center T8X80029-SP10.1 and using Easy Update the latest Omnissa Horizon Client generate this error message as well.

On baseline image (T8X80029-SP10.1) I noticed the following certificate expired 2/20/25

my colleague opened a support case with HP and they confirmed that they have a fix which is a file to deploy and a script to run
I have requested that they make that file publicly accessible or published some KB article

This certificate not system, and installed by your HPDM may be.

I just ruled that out by installing a fresh image 8.1 SP 6 from Thin Update using a bootable USB drive to a T630 thin client. I still got the certificate error. I reverted the date to 10/1/25 and I didn't have a problem installing any updates from Easy Update. I'm hoping HP makes the fix public very soon.

HP Recommended

Did HP say when the fix would be made public? Would you be able to let us know what the fix is?

HP Recommended

Agreed. This needs to made public. This scenario has just expedited justification to get off of HPDM and go to IGEL.

They have not yet replied.
