I recently purchased an HP Z4 G4 and looking for the Wifi/Bluetooth HP Option Kit, P/N 3TK90AA or an equivalent.
Further details show it is a: Realtek 8822BE 802.11ac PCIe x1 Wifi/Bluetooth
Another community member was able to install on as late as 5-13-2024. Any assistance on this part or an equal or better equivalent would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Turns out that all you need to know is in the one post linked below. I figured this all out a while back but never put it onto the forum as an easy to find post. I've made up a number of these and they work great in the ZX20, the ZX40 and the ZX G4 workstations. HP has been actually using the evolving Intel WiFi/Bluetooth modules and I have used them all but the one module I found to be best is quite recent and detailed in the linked thread.
Remember that to get Bluetooth to work with the module you have to provide a USB pathway into the motherboard, as described. I don't really use bluetooth so just use the WiFi part of the information. Of interest the same Intel module plugged directly into a motherboard socket that is meant for WiFi/BT does not need that extra USB interface cable that the PCIe card does... the extra traces for BT are built into those motherboards instead. Note the module you want is exactly detailed and it is not V-Pro.
Here is the info you want, and this is not just for a Z6 G5:

The OP for this thread refers to a "Realtek" WiFi/BT HP PCIe card that I'm 100% certain is incorrect. This mistake was because he had read a post dated 5/13/24 HERE in which the OP for that post referred incorrectly to "Realtek" in the post's title, but in the first paragraph it was stated that the WiFi/BT module was from "Intel". Everything else in that post except the title was correct, and worth reading.
I also have seen the real contents of the HP option part number 340L7AA shipping box, which is the listed kit for the Z4 G4 in the most recent Z4 G4 QuickSpecs PDF from 1/25. The module in that HP PCIe card is an Intel AX210, not Realtek. This same kit is used in many other current HP PCs including the Z4 G5. HP in the more distant past did use some cards with Realtek modules in place but those modules are shaped differently.
As the Intel modules evolved and got better HP used the same PCIe card and the same combined WiFi/BT antenna. However the Intel modules changed as each new kit was released. This whole project has been a true rabbit hole, but I survived and got it right.

The HP QuickSpecs document for the Z4 G4 show the WiFi/BT kit to be 340L7AA. If you google for that PDF and do a CTRL+F (find) key combo on it for "bluetooth" you'll see that option kit. My guess is that the 3TK90AA you refer to is an old kit for other HP computers. Regardless the Intel module in the kits listed for the Z4 G4 and Z4 G5 have performed very well here. I do see that there is a Realtek kit with the number you used but that is not what you'd want.
