Z400 HP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP community, I have a problem with my HP Z400 Workstation. It doesn't remember date and time. I tried to change bios battery and reset CMOS but this problem still persist. If you know a solution, write down here. Thanks so Much.

P. S: the motherboard has been for the last 4 years in a dirty place. I think the battery slot is a little bit dirty. But I don't see dust. But it's not a big deal. Thank you for replying me.

try replacing the cmos battery again with a TESTED new cmos battery a good working battery will give over 3.1 volts dc

 

if that fails, the motherboard is defective, and needs to be replaced (replace with a v2 board)
