I'm having problems with Intel RST installation on HP Z420. I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. On Windows 7 Intel RST worked good. I had an icon in tray and warnings set in case of disk failure.
After upgrade to Windows 10 I downloaded drivers for Intel RST from:
I installed them manually but Intel RST tray icon doesn't appear after Windows starts. I also don't see any setup files in driver package I downloaded, so I don't know how to reslove this. How can I troubleshoot this? Any ideas?

That file seems to be awfully small to contain all of the software, etc.
I would suggest you try the IRSTe driver directly from Intel. As you can see, it is a much larger file.
There is a newer version, but that claims to only support the C610/C230 chipsets, and yours has the C602 chipset according to the specs...

However, if you look under the previous versions section of the HP driver link you posted, it appears the previous version listed may include the GUI because the file size is 23.8 MB.
In any event, the driver from the Intel site is 3 years more recent than the previous version HP has listed on the support page.

both paul and the "OP" were curious as to why the HP listed RSTe driver was older than the one posted on the intel site
as i understand it, HP takes all 3rd party venders and then vetts them themselves for the workstations to insure they work as expected with HP's hardware, this delay is why a driver for a new system may not yet be posted on the hp driver page
next, hp usually actively supports a workstation model for 3 to 5 years and during that time will actively update drivers, but once the system is older than 5 years hp will usually no longer vett/post newer drivers
the zx20 line of workstations are a good example of this, since the system was no longer in active support when win 10 was released HP never tested windows 10 and the required win 10 drivers for compatibility and will not usually list win 10 drivers unless that driver was also used in another system (like the z840) that does have official HP win 10 support and uses the same chipsets as the zx20 line
last, HP will keep drivers online for 10 years after the end of a workstations support period. after that time HP will remove all drivers for that model
and as a FTI, Intel no longer actively develops the RSTe 4.5.xx driver for the c602 chipset and it's the last official driver for the z820/620 (and possibly the z420? ) which may yet receive only critical updates on a case by case basis as per intel
and the 4.6.xx RSTe driver also supports the above workstations, but it will not receive any critical patches from intel
